Oliver’s Papa is a ‘cheeky monkey’ with a cheeky laugh to match!
Head Fryer Michael is VERY, VERY, VERY passionate about Fish ‘n’ Chips and the products we sell.
He has very high expectations of his staff at all times and will always ensure that any product produced on any occasion is exact to the last time you may have visited us.
Michael himself trains all of our Fryers and does so through a very intensive 12-week training programme to ensure they are confident and frying to his satisfaction before they are given sole frying responsibility.
Michael’s many years of experience mean's that both locals and visitors can be assured that we are always striving to meet the very highest of standards at all times.
Helen

Helen

Oliver’s Mama is a happy-go-lucky individual who always likes a giggle (once she hears Lee’s laugh, ha ha ha).
Helen enjoys designing the internal aspects of the Restaurant and Takeaway and loves to ensure the areas are of the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
Helen plays an active role in the day-to-day operations of the business, while also working behind the scenes to ensure the training and operations of the business run accordingly and to industry standards.
Helen enjoys meeting and greeting all the customers who visit Oliver’s and is always delighted to help ensure their expectations are met.
Lee

Lee

Fryer/Manageress Lee is an exceptional member of staff without whom Oliver’s wouldn’t be Oliver’s!
Lee has been working in the business for more than eight years.
On buying the business, Michael and Helen instantly saw the potential in Lee and within their first month in charge they asked her if she would be happy to combine the frying role with being Oliver’s Manageress.
Thankfully she said “Yes!” Although she is always learning, Lee has made exceptional progress within her role.
She puts her heart and soul into Oliver’s, our customers and staff.
During 2012/2013 Lee successfully completed her Level 3 in Team Leading and Level 2 in Food Hygiene, while she started Level 4 in Management in 2014.
Lynsey

Lynsey

Lynsey is a highly-valued member of the Oliver’s team.
Restaurant/ Kitchen Supervisor Lynsey is another long-serving member of our business.
Brilliant with customers, Lynsey strikes up a fantastic rapport with all those she comes into contact with.
Lynsey has been serving some of our regular customers for more than eight years and always remembers a face (maybe not a name, but definitely a face!)
Having spotted her potential on purchasing the business, Michael and Helen asked Lynsey to be one of our Restaurant Supervisors – a role she approached head on.
We have worked collectively to ensure the operations of the Restaurant (and Kitchen/Prepping area) runs smother and more effectively.
During 2012/2013 Lynsey successfully completed Level 2 in Customer Services and Level 2 in Food Hygiene.
During 2014/2015 she is now completing Level 3 in Team Leading.
