We are completely out of our routine, therefore our apologies for not posting and acknowledging these wonderful human beings over recent months.

So here goes…. Our ‘Employee of the Months’ for the start of 2026 are as follows:

JANUARY – GEMMA DEVINE

Gemma was a truly valued member of staff over the Christmas period and during January, her commitment and flexibility was truly appreciated.  Gemma has worked for us now coming up two years, she came with a strong ‘Counter Assistant’ background and her customer service skills have increased throughout the last few months.  Gemma lacks confidence a lot of the time, however we are so pleased to see she is becoming more confident week by week.

FEBRUARY – ELLIE DAGGETT

Ellie also works as a Counter Assistant within our Takeaway; Ellie is very similar to Gemma and can lack confidence and self-belief a lot of the time.  However, over the last year her own confidence within the role has grown and it is truly lovely to see her change and become more confident.

MARCH – NICOLE GRAHAM

Wow where do I start with Nicole, she works as a Waitress within our Restaurant here at Oliver’s.  I had the pleasure of working with her during February and I was truly impressed with how much she has improved within her role.  Her confidence has grown so much, and her customer service skills have developed to such a high standard and I was impressed.  

I think under the direction of Sarah our Restaurant Supervisor/ Manager she has developed so much over this last year.  To watch Nicole, interact with the customers was such a pleasure to see, she represents how we are here at Oliver’s and how we treat our customers.  She will always ensure she provides the best service possible and make sure you enjoy your overall experience.

APRIL 2026 – PIPER RAMSDALE

Piper works as a Counter Assistant in the Takeaway and as a Waitress within the Restaurant, her flexibility over recent weeks has been truly appreciated.  She has literally been pulled in all directions and she has dealt with this with such ease.  

Piper has only been with us just under a year now, she initially began in the Takeaway as this area was not something she had worked within before so over months, she slowly got use to the speed and how we do things.  However, when she went over to the Restaurant this was more familiar to her and she settled in very quickly.

During the month of April and especially Easter, Piper has worked between the two roles and has done so fantastically.  She is still adapting to the speed in the Takeaway but given time this will come.
