So alongside our new tradition of voting for who we think has been outstanding throughout 2025, we as business owners also look at who we think has stood out in the work place.
This year we would like to acknowledge two amazing individuals and that would be:

- Amelia Burt
Pat Callaghan – Waitress, Restaurant
The wonderful Pat, where do we start?? Her personal journey these last two years has been extremely tough; she has fought through many obstacles and one which we have supported her throughout. Pat was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour back 2023 and had surgery to remove the tumour last year in 2024. She returned to work in March 2025 and to say she has done amazing is an understatement.
We have been in awe of her physical and mental strength in coming back to work and in overall recovery. The team around Pat have supported her immensely, they truly adore her and have so much respect for her. Pat has worked for us now for over 11 years and she is a pinnacle part of the Restaurant business. The customers love her, her work colleagues love her, and we truly adore her … Pat you have been amazing throughout 2025, and we would just like to say, ‘THANK YOU’ you are amazing!
Amelia Burt – Waitress, Restaurant
Wow Amelia where do we start…. Your strength and drive are to be admired from afar. I do not think you realise how strong you are, you have been amazing since day one of joining us here at Oliver’s. Since starting with us back in February 2024, you have successfully completed you’re ‘A Levels’ which you did amazing…. and now you have continued onto your first year at university and successfully completed with amazing grades. Whilst doing so, you have been so committed to the team here and helped where needed, even at short notice or even completed a double shift if need be.
Your hard work and commitment have not gone unnoticed, a huge ‘Thank You’ from us and an even bigger ‘Well Done’.
